You can set custom distances from 0.1 to 50 miles when creating each nudge. This means you can get notified when you're very close (like 0.1 miles for a specific store) or when you're in the general area (like 5 miles for a city district).
Yes! Go to Friends tab and invite people to share your nudge lists. You can also follow lists from your favorite influencers and discover new places recommended by friends. Shared lists help everyone in your group discover cool spots.
Go to Account settings and enable push notifications for location-based alerts. You can also choose to receive SMS notifications by adding your phone number. Both notification types will remind you when you're near places you've saved.
You'll receive a notification like "Hey! 5 days ago you asked to be nudged about a cool restaurant nearby. Don't forget to check out [place name]. It's currently 0.3 miles away!" If you're at the location, we may ask "Hey! It looks like you are at [place] — mark this Nudge visited?"
Yes! This is one of NearNudge's key features. You can easily turn locations you discover on TikTok, Instagram, or other social platforms into location reminders. Just share the location from the social app to NearNudge, and we'll create a nudge for you.
You can organize nudges into custom lists like "Mar Vista Restaurants" or "Venice Hot Spots". Filter by category (restaurant, shop, tourist, friend, business, other), track completion status, and see your progress on the dashboard.
Yes, your privacy is our top priority. Location data is processed to provide location-based reminders. We never sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. You can control location permissions through your device settings and delete your account anytime.
The app is offered for residents of the United States and U.S. territories. You may access and use the app while traveling internationally, but you're responsible for complying with local laws. Data is processed and stored primarily in the United States.
NearNudge is currently in private beta with limited spots available. Join our early access waitlist to be among the first to experience the app and help shape its development. We're planning a wider release in 2025.
